Hello world and welcome to my personal site!
Over the years, I've fallen into a pretty predictable pattern when it comes to personal projects. The first 10% is always tough, where I'm not even sure of the direction I want to take it and the technical details surrounding it. If I manage to get through that initial phase, deciding that this project is worthwhile to pursue, typically the next 20-80% is the most fun. Sinking time into research and building it out, making meaningful additions and modifications, and the feeling of slowly seeing the project come to life are all quite fulfilling.
There comes a point, however, where I slow down massively and in most cases just abandon the project altogether. All the fun portions seem to be extracted and only the boring, cleanup parts remain. I'm certainly not the only person who falls into this pattern; this phenomenon appears as a common meme among many communities (starting new projects while ignoring the endless growing list of unfinished ones).
On this site, I hope to occasionally break that pattern. A place that reduces the friction of all the final production setup steps necessary and just hosts all of the random projects I've been working on. From larger projects to small silly things created in an afternoon — I hope to aggregate them and publish them out for the internet void to enjoy.
I'm not an expert in anything really; software development is what I'm most confident in, but even in that I'm constantly learning of new things I've been doing wrong / suboptimally. But regardless, I hope that some of the work that I enjoy making is worthwhile to someone out there.
I hope you enjoy your stay!
